Murgh Awadhi Korma

This is also from awadhi cuisine and its an very easy recipe to make an aromatic korma..

Murgh Awadhi Khorma
Chicken leg boneless 250 gms
Brown cashew paste 70 gms
Brown garlic paste  30 gms
Ginger garlic paste  10 gms/one and half tsp
Coriander powder  10 gms/one and half tsp
Kasoori methi 3 gms/Quarter tsp
Garam masala powder 2 gms/  Quarter tsp
Nutmeg powder 2 gms/Quarter tsp
Salt to taste
White pepper powder to taste
Cardamom powder 2 gms/Quarter tsp
Fennel powder 3 gms/Quater tsp
Saffron 0.1 gm
Fresh cream  20 ml/2 tbsps
Kewra water 2 ml/half tsp
Chopped coriander leaves 10 gms/2 tbsps
Ghee 20 ml/2 tbsps
Cooking oil 40 ml/4 tbsps

*To make brown cashew paste, shallow fry cashews in ghee/butter until it turns slight brown and grind into fine paste with water
*To make Brown garlic paste, fry 4-5 garlic cloves in ghee/butter till it turns slight brown and you can grind along with cashewnuts

·         Heat oil in a pan,add ginger and garlic paste,cook for sometime
·         Add coriander powder ,kasoori methi,sauté for 2 min
·         Add chicken and cook for another 5 mins
·         Add garam masala powder,nutmeg powder,salt and white pepper powder.Saute for 2 mins
·         Add brown cashew nut and brown garlic paste
·         Add cardomon powder,fennel powder,kewra water and saffron
·         Finish with fresh cream
·         Garnish with chopped coriander
