Pineapple Rasam
Ingredients
Cooked Toor dal-half cup
Pineapple Juice-2 cups or
Pineapple ,Chopped-1
Cumin-1 tsp
Tomato-1
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-half tsp
Green Chilli ,chopped-1-2 nos
Coriander,chopped-1 stem
Pineapple ,chopped-Few pieces
Oil-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Lime juice-2-3 drops
Method
1.Chop pineapple using pineapple cutter,remove the thorns and the center pulp(white) and
grain it to fine paste

2.In tawa,add oil-1 tsp,mustard seeds,cumin,green chillies and tomato
3.Add the toor dal ,pineapple juice and 1 cup of water
4.Add the rest of the ingredients one by one and bring it to a boil
5.Switch off the flame and add the lime juice.

ReplyDeleteSwetha ,u shdn't use the thorns and hard white pulp of the center pineapple....U can also Tinned pineapple and juice,will do great for this try..i am sure that wont bitter
