Tomota Curry


This is south indian side dish for chapathi or roti...

Ingredients
Onion-1,finely chopped
Tomoto-2,finely chopped
Green Chilly-3,finely chopped
Turmeric powder-quarter tsp
Salt to taste
Oil-2 tsp
Mustard seeds/Cumin seeds-1 tsp(optional)
Curry leaves-a few

Method
1.Fry mustard seeds ,onion,tomato in oil
2.Once it is semicooked add turmeric powder,salt and green chillies
3.Add 1/3 cup of water and cook for 5 minutes
4.Garnish with Curry leaves

  1. This is exactly who I make tomato curry . Except that I dont add water to it . I just close the lid and have the steam infuse the juices in the tomato .
