Crab Fry




i am little panic to post my nandu varuval, Crab Fry... I here clearly say anyone can posted this recipe or may post it....Dont claim me its originally yours..We all sail in same boat of serving good recipes to the world(without expecting any return)....
This nandu varuval,i make it often(like every 15 days)..cos my husband bags lots of crab from market..as he loves it...Whenever i get ready to cook crab,he orders "more spice",even after tasting it,he says "it needs more spice".After three years of making crab,i got it right spice. Crab has its tendency to cook soon and also gives sweet taste

The crab is believed to be bought in full moon,cos its more fleshy and tasty(try it).It can reduce ur fever and cold illness soon...
Ingredients
Crab-1 kg (Buy soft/thin skin crab)
Onion-3
Tomato-2
Garlic paste-3 tbsp
Ginger paste-2 tbsp
Coconut-1 cup
Aniseed-1 tsp
Cumin-1 tbsp
Pepper-2 tbsp
Turmeric-2 tsp
Chilli powder-1 tbsp
Coriander powder-2 tbsp
Coriander n Curry leaves-optional
Oil to shallow fry
Salt to taste

Method
1.Wash Crab with 1 tsp of turmeric powder
2.Fry Onion,Tomato,Garlic,Ginger in oil to soft texture,then add turmeric,salt,chilli and coriander powder
3.Grain coconut,aniseed to fine paste
4.Powder cumin and pepper ,add half to coconut mixture
5.Add coconut mixture to the frying onion mixture
6.Stir until the masala turns red
7.Add the cleaned crab and close the lid(keep the flame in sim)
8.Open after the crab color turns red
9.Add the rest of the pepper n cumin powder and coriander leaves,Stir it well.
