Mutton Chukka/Sukka


Ingredients
Mutton-1/2 kg
Onion-3
Tomato-3
Ginger garlic paste-2 tbsp
Green Chilly-3 nos
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Red chilly powder-3 tsp
Corainder powder-3 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Star anise-2
cloves-5
Bay leaf-1
Cardomon-3
Oil-3 tbsp
Garnish(optional)
Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
Curry leaves-a few
For Paste
Coconut-1 cup
Khus Khus-1/4 cup


Method
1.Wash the mutton and squeeze out the water
2.Use pressure cooker to make this recipe,Heat oil :Add the dry spices of star anise,
bay leaf,cardomon and cloves
3.Add chopped Onions and tomatoes
4.Add ginger garlic paste(So that it wont stick to bottom) and slited Green chillies
5.Add mutton and rest of the spice powder
6.Stir until the spice blends well
7.Add two cups of water(if u want gravy) or just add one cup of water
8.Close the lid and cook it in lowest flame for 30 minutes
9.Dry Roast coconut,khus khus and cashews and grind them to fine paste
10.Add this paste to mutton and cook for 5-10 mins
11.U can add water for gravy,or roast it until it turns out red dry chukka
