Victoria Sponge Cake

Victoria Sponge Cake
Ingredients
Maida-170 gms
Sugar-170gms
Butter-170gms
Eggs-3
Vanilla Essence-1 tsp
Milk-1/2 cup
Method
1.Beat Eggs and keep aside
2.Mix Butter,Vanilla essence and milk and add to eggs
3.Seive Maida and (powder )Sugar for 3 times to mix well
4.While beating butter mix,add maida slowly
5.In Greased pan,add the content and bake at 400*F for 20 mins
I just made this cake and rolled some of choco coffee beans on it....

This is very good recipe and taste yummmy......There is no eggs and sugar too
Ingredients
Maida-1+1/2 cup
Condensed Milk-1/2 cup
Butter-1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence-1 tsp
Baking powder-1 tsp
Method
1.Sieve Maida and Baking powder for 2 times
2.Beat butter,Vanilla essence and Condensed milk
3.Add maida slowly while beating the butter mixture
4.Add 75ml of water and beat well
5.Bake for 450* for 10 mins or more
6.Yummy cake is ready

Fruit Salad Melonia

Fruit Salad Melonia
Ingredients
Water Melon-1/2 kg
Musk Melon-1/2 kg
Sugar-50 gms
Lemon-20ml
Melon Juice-1 cup

Method
1.Remove the seeds of melons and set aside

2.Grain Sugar,Lemon juice and Mint for salad dressing



3.Scoop out the melons with a spoon...



4.While scopping water melon,it leaves juice,add this to salad dressing




5.Pour syrup over the fruit scoops and serve chilled

Malai Kulfi


Malai Kulfi
Ingredients
Full Cream Milk-4 cups
Sugar-1/2 cup
Bread slice-1
Elachi powder-2 tsp
Nuts-1/2 cup

Method
1.Boil milk and reduce to 2 cups
2.Add Sugar to it
3.Dry Roast nuts and chop them fine pieces and powder
4.Cut the corners of bread,and grain the bread to fine powder
5.Add Bread and nuts to milk and boil for one minute
6.Dont over cook,as it can burn out at bottom
7.Add elachi powder,and pour it to mould if u have it
8.U can also pour it to vessel and cut them into slices to serve
9.Garnish with nuts




Caramel Popcorn

Hi everyone,Hope u guys ready for vacation and gotta manage ur kids eeeeeeeerrrrrrrr.........I show a easy way of yummy popcorns that make ur kids busy for a while....I tell u,they roam with his popcorn handful entire vacation...
Here is simple and little tough recipe
Ingredients
Popcorn(popped)-4 cups
Butter-150 gms
White/Brown Sugar-200 gms
Method
1.Melt Butter in microwave for one minute
2.Add Sugar + one tbsp water

3.Microwave 3 mins for high,stir every one minute to avoid sticking at bottom
4.Sugar melts ,and turns brown(not black)
5.Take a drop of syrup and pour it on plate,if it is sticking continue cooking
6.They say string consistency (kambi patham in tamil).If u add a drop of syrup to water,it doesnot dissolves,rather settle down.Take it out in hand,try to roll the drop as ball,if it does,the syrup is in string consistency.
7.The syrup will be hot and turn hard as soon as it cools down

8.Pour the syrup over the pop corn
9.Allow pop corn to cool down


10.First it will be chewy,after 2-3 hours ,it dries and becomes crunchy. Store it in air tight jar.
11.U can also roll them into balls when it is hot.

12.The syrup can be preserved and re used

Anchovies Fry (Nethili Fry)


Anchovies Fry

Ingredients


Anchovies Fish-100 gms
Rice flour-1 handful
Chilli powder- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Beaten Egg-1/2
Salt to taste
Oil to Deep fry

Method


1.Clean Fish in water and Squeeze them
2.Mix all the ingredients except fish
3.Add the fish and marinate for 10 mins
4.Dont add water
5.Deep fry them in hot oil
6.Garnish with onion n lemon

Green Peas Masala

Green Peas Masala

Ingredients

Fresh Green Peas - 2 cups
Dry Indian Spices - a few
Onion - 2
Tomato - 3
Chopped Ginger Garlic - 1 tbsp
Red Chilly powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-2 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow fry

Method

1.Cook peas with sugar ( to retain the color) with less water for 5-10 minutes
2.Chop onion n tomatoes and fry in oil
3.Add Ginger garlic,red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala and salt and fry till oil oozes out.
4.Add peas finally and Serve for any indian bread or rice
5.Can garnish with green leaves and fresh cream.

Hello everyone,i been too lazy to get batteries for cam....thats ah i couldnt post anything for 10 days....Oh mg..... I welcome u and the hot summer with this simple smoothie...I been expert( too proud!!!).. le mee say i am good in blending fruits to make mocktails or desserts....Its more healthy to have, rather than any hard task cake or cookies ....I made this simple and quick smoothie for my family and also for FIC-Pink/Rose Event

Ingredients
Strawberries-(200 gms)1 cup
Curd-1 cup
Milk-1 cup
Nutmeg powder- a pinch
Sugar-4 tbsp
Ice cubes-3-4
Strawberry jam-1 tbsp
Method
1.Chop Strawberries to fine pieces
2.In blender ,add strawberries and sugar n make puree
3.Now add the rest of the ingredients,and whisk for 1 min
4.Serve chilled

Choco Peda

Ingredients


Condensed milk-1/2 tin
Milk powder-1 cup
Cocoa powder-2-3 tsp
Butter-1 stick

Method

1.Melt butter in microwave for 1 minute
2.Mix condensed milk,milk powder and cocoa powder without lumps
3.Add the mix to butter and microwave for 3 minutes at medium
4.Stir every 1 minute gap to avoid sticky at bottom
5.Cool it,and roll as pedas by greasing ur hands
6.Use will get crunchy pedas,when it is dry
7.Garnish with choco chips,nuts,gems…..

Chilly Chicken

Chilly chicken
Ingredients
Chicken wings -100 gms
Kashmir Chilli powder-3 tsp
Turmeric powder-2 tsp
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Lime juice-2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

Method
1.Marinate Chicken with all the ingredients and keep in refrigerator for 30 mins.
2.Deep Fry or shallow fry until sizzling stops.
3.Use real chilli powder ,avoid colouring agent in cooking.
4.Serve hot

Schezwan Paneer

Schezwan Paneer
Ingredients
Paneer-100gms
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Red Chilli powder-2 tsp
Cornflour-2 tbsp
Soya Sauce-1 to 2 tsp
Tomato Puree-2 tbsp
Spring Onion Chopped-1 cup
Vinegar -1 tsp
Sugar-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil to shallow fry

Method
1.Cut paneer into cubes
2.In Oil fry ginger garlic paste,Spring Onion,and red Chilli powder
3.Add Soya sauce,Tomato Puree and vinegar
4.Add Paneer to it
5.Mix Cornflour in few drops of water to make paste and add it
6.Stir without pause and add salt & sugar now
7.Dont over cook it and don’t add sugar to onions ,it may get caramelized

Badam Kheer

Ingredients
Full Cream milk-2 cups
Almond -10 nos
Cashew-10 nos
Pistochios-5 nos
Saffron-5 strings
Elachi powder-2 pinch
Desicated coconut-1/2 tsp
To Garnish fine sliced nuts


Method
1.Soak almond & pistachios in hot water for half an hour and peel the skins
2.Grain cashew,almond & pistachios to fine paste with few drops of milk
3.Soak Saffron in 2 tbsps of chill milk(if the milk turns yellow immediately, the saffron is fake)
4.Add the paste,saffron,Elachi powder to full cream milk
5.Garnish nuts and coconut on top
6.Serve Chilled kheer

Kadai Chicken

Kadai Chicken
Ingredients
Chicken-1/2 kg
Onion-3
Tomato-4
Cashew paste-1/4 cup
Chilli powder-2 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Dry Spices-a few
Ginger Garlic paste-2 tbsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Fresh Coriander -1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Fry to shallow fry
Method
1.Chop onion and tomato
2.In Oil,fry onion,tomato,spices and ginger garlic paste
3.Add Clean Chicken pieces to it,add chilli powder and saute for 2 minutes.
4.Add ½ cup of water and cook for 5 mins
5.Once the water is absorbed,add Turmeric powder,Cashew paste and Garam masala
6.Saute Chicken until oil oozes out
7.Garnish with coriander
